Tradition: From the first patients in the early 1900’s to an enhanced, clinical multi-disciplinary Avita of today, serving over 100,000 unique patients per year, our commitment to care for those in need never has wavered.
Trustworthiness: Our promise to be there when you need Avita most, to provide you and your family the highest quality care has never changed over all these years.
And now it is time for a transformation that will take Avita Health System boldly into the future and continue to build on the strength of our past.
To that end, in the coming year Avita Health Foundation plans to announce a campaign that will seek grant-making, and philanthropic gifts and pledges from our employees, friends, and volunteers – the entire community- in an effort to join leaders across Avita Health System in support of the Campaign for Avita: “About Life – About You.” The health system has millions of dollars of capital and programmatic needs that Avita Leadership and Avita Health System Board seeks our help to raise. Although our campaign, coupled with significant investment from the Avita Health System, will be the most ambitious philanthropic endeavor in the history of healthcare in the communities we serve, supporters, in part, will drive the next generation of innovative care, close to home, in Crawford, Richland and surrounding counties Avita serves.
Progress toward this transformation is already well underway, with a bold plan, that will enhance the patient experience and empower clinical excellence across the health system. These essential investments made by the Avita Health System — the construction and expansion of inpatient services on the 2nd floor of Avita Ontario, the purchase of the Sears building in Ontario, and new 3T MRI at Avita Bucyrus are the beginning phases of projects that will transcend the health system’s commitment to provide the highest quality, compassionate care, close to home.
The Foundation has made significant progress in the “planning and quiet” phases of our campaign. We appreciate all those employees past and present who support the philanthropic priorities we champion on behalf of the Avita Health System. I hope this letter helps you understand what the Foundation will be working on over the next year (planning and silent phases), so in turn you can become part of the campaign as donors and ambassadors when the campaign goes public sometime in 2023 or 2024. In the meantime, please continue to support IGIVE and all of the wonderful programs that impact employees, clinical programs, and patient care. All giving is vital to our mission and counts towards participation.
